Steve completed his Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance in 2005 at Acadia University. He spent several years teaching and performing before returning to school in 2021, receiving his M.M in Classical Guitar Performance from Memorial University. Steve is currently in his second year of PhD studies at Memorial University, where his research focuses on music in science fiction and fantasy film and video games.

Steve’s approach to teaching emphasizes creativity and individual artistry, rooted in a solid technical foundation. His lessons aim to give students the technical skills and knowledge to realize their artistic ambitions. Steve is very excited to be able to bring his passion and artistry to Intervals, and he looks forward to developing a community of guitarists that will inspire each other through performance and collaboration.
