Jessica Ozon

Music Educator

Hobbies

When she’s not working on her music, Jessica spends her time baking, reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.

Jessica’s admiration for music began at just 18 months old, when she started Kindermusik classes at Take Note Music School and began taking private piano lessons thereafter. Since those days, she has always had a love for music, and often found herself involved in school bands, musical showcases, and choirs throughout her teen years. She is delighted to share that love of music with her students at Intervals and seeks to provide each of her students with a learning experience that is unique to them and helps them to find the joy in music making.

Currently, Jessica is completing her Bachelor of Music at Memorial University where she studies piano and composition. She is passionate about using music as a tool for self expression and creating community. Her musical interests range from performing classical music as a pianist and church organ scholar, to leading MUN’s electronic music ensemble Tabula Rasa and jamming with friends. She encourages students to take a step outside their comfort zone and experience new ways of learning music that interest and inspire them.
