Emma Douglas

Music Educator

Hometown

St. John's, NL.

Hobbies

Reading, writing, jamming out with friends and playing with her puppy !

Since she can remember Emma has had a passion and love for all things music. Studying voice with Peter Macdonald and learning violin/fiddle with a variety of wonderful teachers, nothing delights her more than learning new instruments, jamming with Family and Friends and performing on stage in various local theatre productions such as PMP’s “Scrooge” (‘16, ‘18 and ‘22) and BKP’s “How do You Get to Jellybean Row” and “Honk”.

In her first year at MUN with plans to complete a Bachelor of Arts in French and to eventually become a Primary/Elementary Educator Emma sees music as a foundation for building self-confidence, growing friendships and exploring the world around us.

Emma considers herself extremely lucky to have grown up in a province with such a rich musical culture and is excited to share that same joy and excitement to learn and grow at Intervals!
