Ashley’s love for music started very young and has been guiding her through life ever since.She has taken her passion for music into every aspect of her life, from learning and sharing with others through teaching and growing as a musician within the local music community and throughout her time in University. With a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Dalhousie University, a Master’s of Music in Operatic Performance and Interpretation from the University of Montreal, and a Bachelor of Primary and Elementary Education from Memorial University under her belt, Ashley’s love of learning is never ending. Along with her passion of lifelong learning, she is currently completing a Bachelor of Special Education from Memorial University, driven by her dedication to supporting diverse learners.  

Outside of the Intervals music studio, you’ll find Ashley teaching music to grades 4-6 at Vanier Elementary or singing with Lady Cove choir. She also loves to read, discover new recipes, spend time with family and friends, and make sure her dog Marlo receives special attention and treats. 

Ashley believes in fostering a safe and supportive environment for her students while achieving goals on their own individual musical journey. She loves seeing her students gain confidence and grow in their musical ability while having endless fun.
